Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A South Woodslee man and a Tilbury woman were both charged early Monday after police say they breached conditions stemming from a previous intimate partner violence case.
Officers were called to a residence in Tilbury around 2 a.m. on Dec. 1 for a verbal dispute between a 38-year-old man and a 45-year-old woman.
Police say the man was bound by a release order that barred any communication with the woman. Officers determined he was violating that condition and arrested him for failing to comply with an undertaking.
Further investigation showed the woman had invited the man to her home despite the non-communication order. She was charged with facilitating a breach.
Both were taken to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and are being held for bail.
