Threats suspect arrested following noise complaint

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 30-year-old Chatham man wanted for allegedly threatening a 17-year-old and his family was arrested Friday night after police responded to a noise complaint on Merritt Avenue.

Police say the threat investigation began on Oct. 17, when the teen reported being threatened with physical harm. A warrant was issued for uttering threats.

The man was arrested around 10:11 p.m. Friday and later released with conditions and a Dec. 29 court date.
