The Lambton OPP is teaming up once again with Operation Christmas Tree to collect donations for local families in need, hosting a drive-through event with Santa on Saturday, Dec. 6 at the Corunna detachment.
Officers will open the garage bays to the public between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., accepting new unwrapped toys, non-perishable food items and gift cards to help support families during the holiday season. Community members are invited to stop by the detachment at 392 Lyndoch St. to make a donation.
Santa Claus will also be on site for a meet-and-greet with children and families throughout the event.
The Lambton OPP says it is a proud, long-standing supporter of Operation Christmas Tree and thanked residents for their continued generosity year after year.
