The Sydenham Challenge Dragon Boat Festival will return to the water next summer, with organizers confirming the 2026 event for June 6.
Promotion for the festival shows the popular community race day will again feature its three main racing divisions — mixed, juniors and BCS — along with the return of the crowd-favourite “Tug O War” special event.
Limited space will be available in both open and female divisions for the tug-of-war competition, and registration will include a free practice session on May 23. Early-bird pricing will be offered once registration officially opens, with organizers encouraging teams to watch for details and mark their calendars.
