Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 36-year-old Chatham-Kent man has been charged after a dispute between two people escalated early Sunday morning.
Police were called to a residence in Chatham around 1:40 a.m. on Dec. 7 and learned a verbal argument between a man and a 26-year-old Chatham woman had turned physical. The man required medical attention and was taken to hospital.
He was later charged with uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm and assault. He was released from hospital with conditions and is set to appear in court on Jan. 21, 2026.
