Raleigh Township driver charged with impaired operation in Blenheim

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 27-year-old man from Raleigh Township is facing impaired driving charges after a traffic stop in Blenheim early Saturday morning.

On December 13, 2025, at approximately 12:07 a.m., a Chatham-Kent Police Service officer stopped a vehicle on Middle Line.

The driver provided a breath sample into an approved screening device, which registered a fail.

He was arrested and transported to police headquarters, where further testing confirmed readings above the legal limit.

The accused was later released with conditions and is scheduled to appear in court on December 30, 2025.
