Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Police laid assault charges against two individuals after responding to a domestic disturbance at a Chatham residence late Friday night.
Officers were called to the address on December 12, 2025, at approximately 11:46 p.m., where they located a 27-year-old man from Chatham-Kent and a 32-year-old woman from Chatham.
Both were observed to have visible injuries, though no additional medical treatment was required.
Following the investigation, both parties were arrested and charged with assault.
The woman was released with conditions and a future court date, while the man was held in custody pending a bail hearing.
