OPP officials allege: An individual is facing impaired driving charges following a single-vehicle collision in Warwick Township.
On Dec. 14, 2025, at about 6:45 p.m., members of the Lambton County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of a collision on Egremont Road, east of Quaker Road. Police said no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.
Following the investigation, a 32-year-old individual from Tillsonburg was arrested and charged under the Criminal Code with operation while impaired by alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding the legal limit.
A 90-day administrative driver’s licence suspension was imposed, along with a seven-day vehicle impoundment, as required by statute. The accused was released from police custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Sarnia on Jan. 15, 2026.
Lambton OPP are reminding drivers to plan ahead and never get behind the wheel while impaired by alcohol or drugs, noting that traffic safety is everyone’s responsibility. Anyone who suspects an impaired driver is urged to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
