OPP seek public assistance following collision and assault in St. Clair Township

OPP officials allege: Ontario Provincial Police are seeking the public’s assistance following a single-vehicle collision that escalated into an assault in St. Clair Township.

According to Lambton County OPP, officers responded to a report of a collision on Kimball Road, south of Bentpath Line, at approximately 6:15 a.m. on Dec. 17, 2025. Police say a vehicle had left the roadway and come to rest in a ditch. No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

Investigators allege that while a passerby stopped to offer assistance, a second vehicle also pulled over. The driver of that vehicle is accused of assaulting both the passerby and the individual involved in the collision before leaving the scene.

Police say one person sustained minor injuries as a result of the assault. The suspect is described as a Black female with white braided hair, wearing white glasses and a grey tracksuit.

The investigation remains ongoing. Anyone with information, including dash-camera footage from the area at the time of the incident, is asked to contact the Lambton County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Those wishing to remain anonymous can contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS), where a cash reward of up to $2,000 may be available.
