Arlyn was the daughter of the late Dr. Eldon and Eloise Tiffin, predeceased by several beloved siblings, and survived by her brother, Warren. She will be greatly missed by dear family friend, Brad Jacobs, as well as her many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Arlyn found great joy in spending time with family, sharing stories, and caring for her many canine companions over the years. There’s no denying her love for her fur babies, especially her latest dog, Lacey. She proudly participated in many dog shows and was a lifetime member of The Sydenham Valley Dog Training Club. Arlyn also devoted decades to service work with her therapy dogs, visiting hospitals and nursing homes, bringing comfort and joy to many residents.
Arlyn’s life was deeply rooted in faith, guiding her with quiet strength, even in her final days. Family and friends are invited to gather for her Funeral Mass at Our Lady Help of Christians Church on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at 11am. Following Mass everyone is invited to Celebrate Her Life with food, friends, and fellowship at the Cavanagh Reception Centre (416 Nelson Street, Wallaceburg)(519-627-3231). She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery during a private ceremony at a later date.
In honour of her love for her many canine companions, please consider making donations to the Pet and Wildlife Rescue or to the Chatham-Kent Hospice in her memory. Cherished stories and tributes may be left for the family at www.CavanaghFuneralHome.ca.
