Ted Murray Williams, a member of Walpole Island First Nation passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at the age of 73. He was predeceased by his parents Louis Williams and Ireta (Blackbird) Williams.
Ted was a loving brother to Bobby Williams (Myra), Peggy Williams, Brenda Williams, Christine Greenbird (the late Silas) and the late Louis Williams Jr., Roly Williams Sr., Jerry Williams, and Angela Peters.
He will be missed dearly by his many nieces and nephews.
Ted enjoyed watching Western Movies and an avid hunter and fisher, having spent many years guiding on Walpole Island.
Community visitation will be held at the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231) on Monday, January 5, 2026 from 5-7pm.
His funeral services will take place at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Tuesday, January 6 at 1pm followed by burial at Highbanks Cemetery.
