Sarnia Fire Rescue responded to a vehicle-versus-house collision on the 700 block of Cathcart Boulevard shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Jan. 1.
Firefighters arrived to find a vehicle that had struck a residence and worked to stabilize it before assisting the occupant, who remained inside. The occupant sustained minor injuries and was extricated from the vehicle to await assessment by Lambton Emergency Medical Services.
Fire officials reported minor damage to the building’s façade, with no structural damage identified. The scene was later turned over to Sarnia Police.
