The Wallaceburg Airhawks, a local youth basketball organization, have announced the return of their Winter Academy, set to run from Jan. 12 through May 4 at the large gymnasium at Wallaceburg District Secondary School.
The academy will operate on Monday evenings, excluding holidays, and is open to players in Grades 1 through 8. Sessions will be divided by age group and held throughout the evening. Organizers say the program is designed to focus on skill development, confidence and a love of the game in a structured and supportive environment.
The program includes 15 on-court sessions and a reversible Airhawks jersey, with a reduced fee available for players returning from the fall academy. Registration is now open.
