The Kent Agricultural Hall of Fame Association is inviting the public to submit nominations recognizing individuals who have demonstrated significant achievement and service within agriculture and the rural community of Chatham-Kent and beyond.
The association honours people, living or deceased, whose lifetime or career contributions reflect unselfish dedication to agriculture and rural life. Members of the public are encouraged to nominate family members, friends, neighbours or colleagues they believe meet this standard.
Nominations must be submitted by March 31 to be considered at the board’s spring meeting. Successful nominees are typically recognized at an induction ceremony held in November. Submissions received after the deadline will be held for consideration the following year.
Since its establishment, the Kent Agricultural Hall of Fame has recognized 212 individuals for contributions spanning primary production, research, education, government, business and agricultural stewardship.
More information and nomination forms are available at www.chatham-kent.ca/aghof.
