Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A traffic stop on Oriole Parkway in Chatham shortly after midnight on Jan. 24 resulted in charges against a novice driver.
Police stopped a vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed and issued an approved screening device demand. A 17-year-old Chatham resident registered a fail.
The driver was charged with having a blood-alcohol concentration above zero as a novice driver. His licence was suspended, the vehicle was towed and he was released with a provincial offence notice.
