Teen charged after breaching curfew during traffic stop in Chatham

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A traffic stop in Chatham early Jan. 24 led to charges after police discovered a court-ordered curfew violation.

Chatham-Kent police stopped a vehicle on Princess Street around 4:14 a.m. and determined an 18-year-old Chatham resident was breaching release conditions.

The individual was charged with failing to comply with a release order and was released from police custody with a scheduled court date of Feb. 18.
