Flags have been lowered to half-mast at all schools and offices within the St. Clair Catholic District School Board following a tragic event in Tumbler Ridge on Feb. 10, 2026.
The board said the decision was made in response to the incident and as a sign of respect and solidarity with the community.
“As a sign of our deep respect, remembrance, and solidarity with the people of Tumbler Ridge, flags will remain at half-mast until February 17, 2026.”
The board added, “During this time of sorrow, we hold all those affected in our thoughts and prayers.”
Flags will remain at half-mast at all St. Clair Catholic schools and offices until Feb. 17.
