Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 34-year-old Chatham man has been charged following a report of a possible impaired driver at a gas station.
Chatham-Kent police say officers responded to a call at approximately 7:40 p.m. on March 4, 2026, at a gas station on Queen Street in Chatham.
Police conducted a standardized field sobriety test and arrested the driver for impaired operation by drug. The vehicle was towed from the scene.
The accused was transported to police headquarters where further testing was conducted before he was released with a future court date.
