Sarnia Police officials allege: A 31-year-old Walpole Island man is facing multiple charges after an incident reported late Friday night on Exmouth Street.
Police say they were called to the 400 block of Exmouth Street at about 10:24 p.m. on March 20, 2026, for a report of a male making vulgar comments and exposing himself.
Two women were sitting in a vehicle when they were approached by the suspect, who asked a series of inappropriate questions, including propositioning them. Police say that despite being told to leave, the man exposed his genitals and began jumping up and down. The women then left the area and contacted police.
Officers located the suspect nearby. An investigation determined he was already on a form of release and subject to three separate probation orders, each requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.
The accused was arrested and charged with an indecent act and three counts of failing to comply with a probation order.
Following a bail hearing, he was remanded into custody.
