United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent has received a $25,000 contribution from TekSavvy Solutions Inc., with funds raised through the company’s “Mega Draws” and employee contributions.
TekSavvy has supported the organization since 2007 through annual workplace campaigns, maintaining participation even as many employees work remotely. The continued success of the campaign reflects what the organization describes as a strong culture of philanthropy among staff, with a shared focus on supporting vulnerable residents in the Chatham-Kent region.
“The consistent generosity of TekSavvy and its employees is inspiring,” said Lorraine Goddard, CEO at United Way Centraide Windsor-Essex Chatham-Kent. “Maintaining such a high level of engagement in a hybrid or remote work environment is no small feat. It shows that no matter where the team is physically located, their heart is firmly rooted in making Chatham-Kent a better place for everyone.”
The donation will be directed toward local initiatives that address needs within the Chatham-Kent community.
