Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 32-year-old Chatham-Kent man is facing a charge after a reported break and enter on Sherman Street.
Police say officers responded April 5, 2026, at approximately 11:07 p.m.
Investigators say the accused, who had previously been told not to return to the residence, entered the home without permission. Officers located the individual inside.
He was arrested and charged with being unlawfully in a dwelling house and later released with conditions and a future court date.
