Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege:A 22-year-old Chatham-Kent woman is facing a charge following a break and enter at a residence on Elizabeth Street.
Police say officers responded April 3, 2026, at approximately 9:50 p.m. after a homeowner returned and noticed signs someone was inside.
Officers attended and located a woman inside the home. Investigators say she had entered without authorization and was found in possession of property belonging to the homeowner.
She was arrested and charged with break and enter to commit an indictable offence, then released with conditions and a future court date.
