Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent police say a man has been arrested after allegedly breaching court-ordered conditions.
Officers received a report at approximately 8:53 p.m. on April 7, 2026, that an accused was in violation of conditions.
Investigators determined that a 43-year-old man from Chatham had been contacting a victim via text messaging despite being bound by court-ordered conditions prohibiting any communication.
A warrant was issued for his arrest, and he was later located by police in Chatham.
He was charged with one count of failing to comply with undertaking conditions and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where he was held for bail.
