Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Chatham-Kent Police Service say a 30-year-old Chatham-Kent man has been charged following a late-night incident on Woods Street.
Police responded around 10:47 p.m. on April 8 to a report of a suspicious person. A male was seen looking into the windows of a residence while dressed in black clothing and wearing a mask.
Neighbours detained the individual on the front lawn until officers arrived.
The accused, a 30-year-old male from Chatham-Kent, was arrested and charged with trespassing at night. He was taken to police headquarters and later released with conditions and a court date scheduled for July 8, 2026.
