Bkejwanong Youth Council is inviting the community to a barbecue fundraiser and clothing drive aimed at supporting local Grade 12 students preparing for prom.
The event is scheduled for Friday, April 10 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Bkejwanong Gas & Variety.
Organizers say the fundraiser will help raise money for Cal’s Boutique and future youth council events, while also collecting formal attire donations such as suits and dresses to assist graduating students.
Community members are encouraged to attend the barbecue and contribute to the initiative, which focuses on ensuring students have access to appropriate attire for prom.
