Wallaceburg man issued summons after alleged stunt driving incident

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 62-year-old Wallaceburg man has been issued a summons following an alleged stunt driving incident on Dufferin Avenue.

Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service observed a motorcycle operator at approximately 12:21 p.m. on April 23 passing vehicles in an unsafe manner while travelling at approximately 120 km/h.

Further investigation through the use of CCTV footage allowed officers to identify the driver of the motorcycle.

As a result, the man was located and issued a Part III summons for stunt driving.

Police are reminding motorists to obey posted speed limits and to drive responsibly to help keep roads safe for all users.
