Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 49-year-old Wallaceburg woman is facing charges following a disturbance at a property on McNaughton Avenue.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to multiple calls for service at approximately 6:29 p.m. on April 23.
Police were contacted regarding a female who was repeatedly attending the property despite having been previously trespassed. Investigations revealed that the individual was banging on doors and yelling at staff and other occupants, causing ongoing disturbances.
Officers attended and attempted to have the individual leave the property peacefully. When these efforts were unsuccessful, the woman was arrested to prevent a further breach of the peace.
As a result of the investigation, the accused was charged with entering premises when entry is prohibited and mischief for obstructing, interrupting, or interfering with the lawful use, enjoyment, or operation of property.
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where she is currently being held for bail.
