Canadian Blood Services is reminding residents of an upcoming blood donor clinic in Wallaceburg as part of ongoing efforts to support patients in need across the country.
The clinic is scheduled for Tuesday, April 28 from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. at UAW Local 251 on Elm Drive South.
Organizers say each donation plays an important role in supporting Canada’s health care system and helping patients who rely on blood products.
“Thank you for adding a lifesaving blood donation to your to-do list. When you commit to donating, you make a meaningful impact on a patient in need. Please keep your blood donation appointment.”
The reminder was sent to donors ahead of the Wallaceburg clinic.
“Thank you for your dedication to Canada’s Lifeline!”
Canadian Blood Services says donors are encouraged to review eligibility information prior to their appointment, including guidance related to medications and donor privacy.
The Wallaceburg clinic is part of regular blood collection efforts aimed at maintaining national supply levels.
