OPP officials allege: Two people are dead following a collision involving a commercial motor vehicle and a passenger vehicle in Plympton-Wyoming, provincial police say.
Officers with the Ontario Provincial Police Lambton County detachment, along with the Camlachie Fire Department and Lambton Emergency Medical Services, responded to the crash at Lakeshore Road and Aberarder Line shortly before 2 p.m. on May 5.
Police say two individuals were pronounced deceased at the scene, while a third person sustained minor injuries.
The intersection was set to remain closed for what police describe as a significant amount of time as investigators examined the scene. Motorists were being asked to be patient while the investigation continues.
The Lambton OPP is being assisted by the West Region Traffic Incident Management Enforcement team as the investigation remains ongoing.
