Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 22-year-old Chatham man is in custody following a disturbance at a licensed establishment Tuesday night.
Chatham-Kent police say officers responded to a call on Grand Avenue East at approximately 10:45 p.m. on May 5, 2026.
Through investigation officers learned that during a verbal altercation, one individual allegedly made threats toward another person and engaged in aggressive behaviour.
The man was arrested and charged with two counts of uttering threats and one count of assault.
He was transported to Chatham-Kent police headquarters and is being held pending a bail hearing.
