Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: Two Chatham men are facing charges following a break and enter investigation in Chatham.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to a residence on Grand Avenue West at about 9:11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 6, 2026.
Police said two individuals were identified through the investigation. One person was taken into custody without incident, while the second was arrested following what police described as a brief interaction with officers.
Both men were charged with break and enter with intent and transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters.
Police said a 41-year-old Chatham man was later released with a future court date of July 28, 2026. A 34-year-old Chatham man was released with a future court date of Aug. 10, 2026.
