With sadness we announce the passing of Mr. Kevin D. Janssens, a resident of Chatham and formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, in Chatham, at the age of 56 years. He was born in Wallaceburg and is a loving son of Daniel “Danny” (Diane) Janssens and the late Anne Marie (Abrams) Janssens (2017).
Loving father of Kaitlynn and he will be remembered by Kaitlynn’s mom Rebecca.
Kind brother and brother-in-law of Jan (Bonnie) Janssens and Lisa (Greg) Christian.
Dear uncle of Connor and Devin.
He will also be missed by his close friends Dave Garrod, Jay Pickford and many extended family and friends. The late Kevin Janssens rested at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg. Following his wishes, cremation will take place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 26th 2026 at 11am at Riverview Cemetery followed by the interment of ashes. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Mental Health Association may be left at the funeral home.
