Walpole Island First Nation is inviting Indigenous artists to submit proposals for a mural project inside its Human Resources boardroom.
The First Nation says the selected artist will be commissioned to paint a 10-foot by 20-foot wall as part of the project, which aims to highlight Indigenous creativity and presence within the workplace.
In a public notice, Walpole Island First Nation said interested applicants are encouraged to submit examples of their work or a portfolio by email.
“Calling all Indigenous Artists! Walpole Island First Nation is looking for an artist to paint the HR Board Room wall! If you are interested, please email: careers@wifn.org,” the notice said.
Applicants are asked to include samples of their artwork when applying.
The deadline to submit expressions of interest is May 28 at 4:30 p.m.
