Residents of Walpole Island First Nation are being advised that survey work may be taking place on private property as part of ongoing housing and land services.
The Walpole Island First Nation Housing and Lands Department says it has contracted Monteith and Sutherland Limited to help finalize surveys for departmental work, which may require access to metal markers located on private property.
Residents are being asked to allow survey staff access if needed.
“We would ask that you allow them on to your property if needed. We thank you for your understanding and cooperation,” the notice states.
Anyone with questions or concerns is asked to contact housing staff at 519-627-0906 or email housing@wifn.org.
The notice is signed by Housing Supervisor Tiffany Lallean and Lands Manager Erica Soney of the Walpole Island First Nation Housing Department.
