Surrounded by her family on Sunday, May 24, 2026, Glenda Johnson, passed peacefully into the arms of the Lord at the age of 72. She has now joined her parents Leita Joyce and Douglas Everette Johnson and will be forever remembered as a loving sister to Sherry Johnson, Bonny Tooshkenig (Paul), Darren Johnson, Melanie Johnson (Nevada), Casey Kiyoshk and the late Ronald Kicknosway and Conrad and Douglas Johnson Jr.
Glenda was the dearest auntie to many nieces and nephews and was a respected and loved member of Walpole Island First Nation where she will be missed by all who knew her.
Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the family home beginning on Wednesday, May 27 after 4pm. Her funeral ceremony will take place at the Walpole Island Evangelistic Centre on Thursday, May 28th at 1pm followed by burial at Highbanks Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Haycock-Cavanagh Funeral Home, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg (519-627-3231).
