OPP seeking help identifying suspect in Corunna credit card fraud investigation (Photos)

OPP officials allege: The Ontario Provincial Police is asking for the public’s help in identifying a person of interest connected to a credit card fraud investigation in Corunna.

Lambton County OPP said officers received a report of a stolen wallet on May 19, 2026.

Police determined the wallet had been stolen from an unknown location on May 16. Later that day, the victim discovered approximately $1,700 in unauthorized transactions had been made using a credit card at a business in Corunna, including the purchase of gift cards.

The suspect is described as a white male between 20 and 30 years old with a reddish-brown beard. Police said the individual was seen wearing dark clothing, a medical mask and a rainbow-coloured bucket hat.

Investigators released a photograph of the suspect as part of the appeal for information.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Lambton County OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anonymous tips can also be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at Sarnia-Lambton Crime Stoppers. Police said tipsters may be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2,000.
