The MASONICh.I.P. Ontario Child Help Identification Program will be holding a free child identification clinic in Wallaceburg on June 13, 2026, aimed at helping families prepare for emergency situations such as Amber Alerts.
The event will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Trinity United Church and is sponsored by Pnyx Baldoon Lodge #312.
Organizers describe the program as a preventative safety initiative that provides child identification kits free of charge, with donations accepted to support future clinics.
“It has been a long time since this clinic was held here and we believe it is a value necessity to protect the interest of our children,” Bob Lozon, secretary and treasurer for Pnyx Baldoon #312, told the Sydenham Current.
According to program materials, MASONICh.I.P. includes digital photographs, video, fingerprints, vital information and a DNA saliva sample, all compiled into an emergency-ready USB kit intended to assist authorities in the event of a missing child situation.
The organization notes that although the program is intended as a precaution, it is designed to give families a tool that can assist in time-sensitive recovery efforts if ever needed.
No appointment is required for the Wallaceburg clinic, and families are encouraged to attend during the scheduled hours.
