Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A Chatham man is facing a criminal charge following a harassment investigation in the city.
The Chatham-Kent Police Service said officers responded to a residence in Chatham at approximately 9:22 p.m. on June 2 regarding a harassment complaint.
During the investigation, police learned that an individual known to another person had allegedly continued sending messages despite previous cautions to stop.
As a result, a 32-year-old Chatham man was arrested and charged with harassing communications.
The accused was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and later released with conditions. He is scheduled to appear in court on July 14.
