Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 36-year-old Chatham man is facing impaired driving charges after police were called to a parking lot where a man was reportedly found unconscious inside a running vehicle.
Chatham-Kent police said officers responded to the scene on McNaughton Avenue West at about 8:08 p.m. on June 15.
The man was arrested and charged with impaired operation of a conveyance involving alcohol. Police said he later provided two breath samples and was also charged with impaired operation with a blood alcohol concentration exceeding 80 milligrams.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear in court on July 27.
