Public information sessions planned for proposed energy storage project in St. Clair Township

St. Clair Township residents will have an opportunity to learn more about a proposed liquid-air energy storage project during upcoming public information sessions.

NRStor is proposing the liquid-air energy storage (LAES) project in St. Clair Township as part of the Independent Electricity System Operator’s (IESO) Long Lead-Time Request for Proposals (LLTR RFP).

The township is sharing the public notice on behalf of NRStor, which is inviting residents to attend one of two sessions to learn more about the proposed project, ask questions and provide feedback directly to the project team.

The sessions will take place Monday, July 20, 2026, at the Mooretown Sports Complex, located at 1166 Emily Street in Mooretown.

The first session will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., with a second session scheduled from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Residents with additional questions or seeking more information can contact NRStor directly at lltr@nrstor.com.
