Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 24-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault causing bodily harm after police say he threw a woman to the ground and choked her.
Chatham-Kent police say officers were dispatched to a Chatham residence at approximately 6:09 p.m. on July 11 regarding a domestic dispute. Investigators allege the man threw the woman to the ground before choking her.
He was arrested and transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters, where he was held for bail.
