Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 63-year-old woman and a 66-year-old man, both from Chatham, are facing charges after police responded to a domestic dispute Wednesday night.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officers were called to a Chatham residence at approximately 9:04 p.m. on July 15, 2026. Investigators learned the woman had attended the residence of the man, who was bound by court-ordered conditions prohibiting contact with her, and a physical assault occurred.
The woman was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a release order. The man was arrested and charged with failing to comply with a release order by communicating with and associating with the woman contrary to his conditions.
Both individuals were transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service Headquarters, where they were released with future court dates.
