Chatham man charged after urinating into container at King Street business

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 52-year-old Chatham-Kent man has been arrested after police received a report of a man urinating into a container owned by a King Street business in Chatham.

Police say the incident occurred at approximately 12:39 p.m. on July 16, 2026. The man had previously been trespassed from the area for harassing staff, and at the time of the incident was bound by a probation order to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

He was arrested for mischief and failing to comply with a probation order, and was transported to Chatham-Kent Police Service headquarters and held for bail.
