Chatham-Kent Police Service is congratulating Constable Wayne Plaquet on his retirement after stopping by headquarters to pick up gifts from the service and its association.
Throughout his career, Plaquet served as a member of the service’s Community Patrol Branch, where he built relationships with residents. He also served on the HELP Team, played a role in administering the VIP Program in local schools, and worked as a trained Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design officer. Plaquet also served as a Level Two Traffic Collision Investigator, contributing to road safety initiatives in the community.
“On behalf of all of us, we thank Wayne for his years of service and wish him a healthy, happy, and fulfilling retirement,” the service said in a statement. “Congratulations and enjoy this next chapter!”
