Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A man was arrested after forcing his way into a compound on Wheeler Line in Tilbury by cutting through a fence.
Members of the Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to the break and enter on Saturday, Sept. 12, at approximately 1:12 p.m. While searching the property, officers located a male party hiding inside an abandoned storage unit.
The 39-year-old Chatham man, who has no fixed address, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering to commit mischief.
He was transported to Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and released on an undertaking, with a future court date set for Dec. 8, 2026.
