Chatham woman turns herself in on charges related to home invasion robbery

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege: A 42-year-old Chatham woman has been charged in connection with a home invasion robbery on Delaware Avenue in Chatham on Aug. 10.

Chatham-Kent police say the woman had been wanted in connection with the incident as the investigation continued. On Monday, she attended Chatham-Kent Police headquarters and turned herself in. She was arrested, processed and released with a future court date of Dec. 12.

She is facing charges of break and enter, armed robbery, assault, disguise with intent, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault causing bodily harm, and uttering threats.
