With the heaviest of hearts, we announce that Lakota James Isaac, a member of Walpole Island First Nation, was taken from us suddenly on Friday, September 25th, 2026, at the age of 38. Beloved son of Edison and Margo Isaac and dearest brother of Shelley, Tahnee and Kewanee. Lakota will be remembered always by his sweetheart Cheyanne. He was a cherished uncle by his many nieces and nephews and will be forever loved dearly by his extended family and friends.

Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation at the family home (277 Brother Rd., Walpole Island) beginning on Tuesday, September 29 at 6pm until the time of his funeral service on Friday, October 2 at 1pm.
