NatureCK and community partners are bringing volunteers together for a large community tree planting across Wallaceburg on Friday, Oct. 23, from 8 a.m. to noon.
Volunteers will plant hundreds of trees across four Wallaceburg parks: Thompson Park, MacDonald Park, Optimist Park and Dauw Park. Students and community partners are expected to take part, and lunch will be served.
“This is more than planting trees. It’s about coming together as a community and creating natural spaces that will continue to grow for years to come,” organizers said.
Registration and additional information will be released soon.
