Harley stolen from Cambridge located in Wallaceburg

A local man faces charges after a stolen motorcycle was located in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say in August last year a Harley Davidson motorcycle was stolen from a residence in Cambridge.

This was reported to the Waterloo Regional Police Service and the information was shared with other police agencies.

Through investigation, officers in the Intelligence Section of the Chatham-Kent Police Service learned that stolen motorcycle was within the Municipality of Chatham-Kent.

Earlier in May, a search warrant was executed at a garage in Wallaceburg and the motorcycle was located.

Yesterday, a 51-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by a crime over $5,000.

He was released with a court date of June 20, 2017.
