The 18th positive case of COVID-19 has been confirmed in Chatham-Kent.
CK Public Health Unit officials say the case, which was reported on April 8, involves a woman in her 20s and is linked to close contact.
The woman is currently in self-isolation.
There is currently one person in hospital from Chatham-Kent with a positive COVID-19 case.
So far, four people from Chatham-Kent have recovered from COVID-19 and one person has died.
A total of 447 tests have been administered in Chatham-Kent and there are 89 pending tests.
“Please note that confirmed cases and tests reported are among residents of Chatham-Kent and numbers may differ from those reported by Chatham-Kent Health Alliance,” CK Public Health officials stated.
CKHA officials say the total number of unique patients who had a positive result is 20.
